Facilities and Support Services is comprised of six departments employing more than 260 individuals and provides support services to all five UNM Hospitals’ facilities, 1650 University, Outpatient Surgery and Imaging Services (OSIS) and stand-alone UNMH Clinics throughout Albuquerque.

  Provides all facilities maintenance and plant operations for UNM Hospital, totaling approximately 770,000 square feet.

  This department has a critical focus on and supports maintenance and plant operations as needed at: UNM Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, UNM Psychiatric Center, UNM Children’s Hospital, Stand-alone Clinics Throughout Albuquerque, Business Facilities Including 1650 University

  Each year this team of professionals supports both renovations and new construction throughout the UNM Hospitals medical campus.

  This team of experts supports all staff, patients, and guests by keeping the following facilities clean: UNM Hospital, UNM Children’s Hospital, UNM Carrie Tingley Hospital, UNM Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, UNM Psychiatric Center, Outpatient Surgery and Imaging Services.
   
• Biomedical & Radiology Maintenance Services     272-2251
  This department maintains just about every piece of patient care equipment for all of UNM Hospitals.  Equipment ranges from pumps to MRIs.

  Provides all patient meals, diet consultations, retail services, and catering at UNM Hospital, UNM Carrie Tingley, UNM Children’s Hospital, UNM Children’s Psychiatric Hospital, and UNM Psychiatric Center.
